The Manchester Community Promotion Board is now accepting grant applications. Between five-thousand and 75-hundred dollars in grants are handed out each quarter, and they are available to anyone — for-profit or non-profit — who want to create and market promotional projects that will benefit the Manchester area and bring more people into town. The grant money comes from a portion of the city’s hotel-motel tax. Application forms are available from the Manchester Chamber of Commerce office or the Chamber’s website at manchesteriowa.org. Funds will be paid out when the project or event is complete and bills have been turned into the Board. The Manchester Community Promotion Board will be accepting grant applications until January 15th.
