WD Wrestling: WaMaC Season Continues Tonight

By Jon Swisher-Sports Director:

West Delaware wrestling returns to KMCH Sports tonight with a WaMaC conference quadrangular against Beckman, Williamsburg and host Center Point-Urbana in Center Point. The Hawks top-ranked 182-pounder Brent Lammers is scheduled to compete in his first matches of the season. Lammers was fifth at the Class 2A state meet last season with a 43-6 record and has been recovering from an ankle injury suffered during the Football playoff run as quarterback for the Hawks’ state quarterfinal squad. The addition of Lammers in the lineup should help the younger Hawks team continue to improve. All the action will get underway at 5:30pm this evening from the CP-U gymnasium live on KMCH and KMCH.com with Jamie Vaske and Roger Reed.
