A Dyersville man was injured in an accident on Highway 20 near Farley on Tuesday afternoon. The Iowa State Patrol says 65-year old Mark Schuster was heading west near Jamesmeier Road when his SUV veered off the highway and went into the ditch. His vehicle eventually hit a dirt burm and vaulted into the air, coming to rest on its wheels. Authorities say a passing motorist assisted Schuster from his vehicle, which caught on fire a short time later. The SUV was totally engulfed in flames when rescuers arrived. Schuster, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was injured and transported to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. The accident remains under investigation.
