Maquoketa Valley will compete in their second class A district 5 undefeated contest in a row Friday night when they travel to take on North Linn. The Wildcats blew past Lisbon in Delhi last Friday night 52-26, to improve their overall record to 3-2. The Lynx are also 3-2, both teams started out 0-2 in non-district play against bigger class schools. Now, they both sit at 3-0 and in a first place tie on top of district 5. Wildcat head coach Wes Wilson says another district title for his program is certainly the goal for this varsity group, especially for the seniors:

WILSON1 10-1

Coach Wilson knows it could be a challenge against a competitive and experienced Lynx squad:

WILSON2 10-1

North Linn head coach Jared Collum comments on the most difficult part of their district schedule that will take place in the final four weeks, it features 3 of the other top teams who have winning records:

COLLUM1 10-1

The Wildcats have won the last several meetings between the teams including last seasons’ game in Delhi, 55-14.

All the action from near Troy Mills tomorrow night can be heard live on KMCH.com and played back after the West Delaware game.
