Egemos Step Away From Youth Football League

The West Delaware Football team is enjoying great success…and that success can be traced back to when those players were in 5th and 6th grade learning the sport in the Northeast Iowa Youth Football League.  Tim and Diane Egemo, who have headed up the league since its beginning 13 years ago, have decided to step down this year. Tim says that 39 out of the 41 players on the current West Delaware varsity roster played in the Northeast Iowa youth Football League:

In addition to Manchester, the league consists of teams from Dyersville, Ed-Co, Starmont, Midland, Anamosa and Clayton Ridge.  The Egemos have also been selected as this month’s KMCH Valued Volunteers.  They received a commemorative certificate and 25 dollars in chamber bucks courtesy of the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce and Delaware County ISU Extension.
