Manchester Kicks off Holidays with Annual Window Walk

There was a huge turnout for Thursday night’s Window Walk in downtown Manchester.

Hundreds of people enjoyed the Christmas floats parked on East Main Street as part of the Static Christmas parade. The Good Neighbor Home was among several vehicles decked out in lights and decorations. CFO Cathy Werner was helping hand out goodies.

The Grinch was making his way through the crowd at his first-ever Window Walk. He told KMCH he had a great time meeting everyone.

There was a long line to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at F&M Bank, the Manchester Lions Club quickly gave away all of their free chili and the West Delaware Light Show and a flame-throwing juggler lit up the night sky on South Franklin Street. There was free hot chocolate and hot cider, live window scenes in the storefronts, carolers, a puppet show and live animals. Everyone has their favorite part of the Window Walk, including these West Delaware students.
