Manchester Police received a report of a suspicious van at Thursday night’s Window Walk, but an investigation shows it was all a misunderstanding. Police Jim Hauschild says after Window Walk, an elderly woman approached three girls in the downtown area and offered them a ride. The girls declined and the woman got into a blue van, which was believed to have Scott County license plates. The van left the area northbound on Highway 13. Police investigated the incident and discovered the woman in the van was a family acquaintenance, but the girls did not know her. Police say there was no criminal act or intent.
