HS Wrestling: Clash Of Highway 20 Trophy On The Line In Independence

The annual match-up between the West Delaware and Independence wrestling teams takes place tonight in Independence with the Clash of Highway 20 trophy on the line. The Hawks lead the series for the traveling trophy after winning the first four meetings but the Mustangs have won the last two including a 48-12 win last season in Manchester.  West Delaware head coach Jeff Voss says it’s always a great atmosphere when these two programs get together:

Tonight’s dual meet will be the final dual before the postseason for both teams as they head to the WaMaC tournament Saturday in Vinton. The varsity will get underway tonight around 7:00 pm and can be heard on Mix 94.7 KMCH and KMCH.com with Roger Reed and Jamie Vaske.
