Authorities say 32-year-old Joshua Sargent was released on bond from the Fayette County jail Wednesday after being arrested on burglary charges. Moments after his release, police say Sargent called Fayette Police Chief Richard Pisanti and threatened to kill him.
Deputies found Sargent a few miles from the jail. Police say he had a knife with him.
He is back in custody, facing additional charges of going armed with intent and second-degree harassment.
Sargent was originally arrested Tuesday in connection to a March 24th home burglary.
