Anamosa’s Lady Raider Track and Field Invitational was held last night with 12 teams participating. Cascade won the meet with 166 1/2 points, Monticello was 2nd with 109, West Delaware 4th with 72, Independence 5th with 69, 7th was Maquoketa Valley with 43, Anamosa 9th with 34 1/2, Starmont 29 in 10th and North Linn had 20 in 11th place.

The Hawk girls are missing the Drake Relays for the first time in a few years, so Coach Engel says their attention will turn to the Marion Invite on Thursday afternoon before their final regular season meet next Monday:

The West Delaware Soccer teams played Western Dubuque last evening. The boys in Epworth won 3-2 in penalty kick fashion after a double overtime took place. Matteo Zucca, Noah Crumpton and Jared Graybill scored for the Hawks. Goalie Joey Sunne had 7 saves including the game winning stop The Hawk girls trailed 3-2 at halftime in Manchester but then it was all Bobcats after the break as they went on to win 9-2.
The West Delaware Boys Golf team returns to action this afternoon in Maquoketa at the Cardinal invite, tee time is 1:30pm.
