Manchester’s Tirrill Park Seeing Improvements

You may have noticed some improvements at Tirrill Park in Manchester.

The new playground equipment for the “Rawrrr with Colton” project arrived last Thursday morning, and crews installed it by Friday. But City Parks and Rec Director Doug Foley says it’s not quite ready to use just yet.

Foley says they also still need to do some sidewalk work, and they have plans to carve one of the park’s trees into the shape of dinosaur. The tennis courts at Tirrill Park are also getting resurfaced within the next couple weeks. And with summer officially kicking off this weekend, the pool will be a busy place…

You can get more information about the Aquatic Center, Manchester’s parks and recreational programs at Manchester City Hall or online at manchester-ia.org.
