The Class 1A 6th-ranked North Linn Baseball team had their season ended by Highland of Riverside last night in Wilton by the score of 3-2. The Huskies scored their first two runs in the 1st inning after the Lynx scored a run to begin the game as Ryan Miller crossed the plate on a wild pitch. The second and final tally for the Lynx was scored in the top of the 4th as Logan Novak came in on a hit by Trevor Boge. The Lynx offense actually out hit the Huskies 4-3 but left seven runners on base. North Linn pitching allowed 6 walks, 3 of them scored accounting for all their runs. Lynx tenth-year head coach Travis Griffith summed up the game in what was a tough disappointing end to another outstanding season:
North Linn closed at 34-10 and had no seniors on the roster.
