HS Football: West Delaware To Host #2 Mount Vernon

The West Delaware football team looks to improve to 2-0 tonight as they welcome in Mount Vernon at Brown Field in Manchester. The Mustangs who are ranked second in class 2A come in 0-1 after a 26-21 loss to Solon in week one, but West Delaware head coach Doug Winkowitsch says his team will have to be ready for a very good Mount Vernon team:

Tonight’s game will be the first at Brown Field this season and Winkowitsch says there’s something special about that first home game:

Tonight’s contest can be heard on KMCH starting with the pregame show with sports director Jon Swisher around 7:00, followed by Jamie Vaske, Aaron Plein, and Bill Logan with the call of the game.

The Stars enter 0-1 after an 18-13 loss to North Butler last week and will face the Wildcats who are 1-0 after a 26-0 victory over Ed-Co in week one.
