One Manchester church celebrated its 160th anniversary this past weekend.
Community Congregational United Church of Christ on East Howard Street has been around since the town’s very beginning. Pastor Kurt Pasko says even though the church has changed names over the years, it’s always been the same congregation.
The church celebrated its 160th anniversary last Sunday with worship service, several musical numbers, a Reader’s Theatre presentation and a “cold fried chicken” picnic lunch.
