HS Football: West Delaware Looks To Remain Unbeaten

The West Delaware football team looks to stay unbeaten tonight as they host Center Point-Urbana inside Brown Field in Manchester. The Hawks who are 3-0 and 1-0 in district play after a 39-22 win over Davenport Assumption in the opening week of district action will welcome in the Stormin Pointers who defeated Maquoketa 32-7 to move to 2-1 and 1-0 in the district. West Delaware head coach Doug Winkowitsch says Center Point-Urbana has a good team and knows his defense will have to be ready for a tough test:

With the 3-0 start and a number seven ranking in class 3A Winkowitsch says they expect the players to continue to take it one week at a time and not pay attention to the rankings:
