Flood Gates Partially Open at Lake Delhi

With major flooding upstream in Manchester, Lake Delhi is taking precautions. Officials have partially opened three of the gates and the spillway is operating as planned.

Lake Delhi District Trustees President Steve Leonard told KMCH late Friday afternoon that everything is going as well as it can in this situation, though some homes upstream may have water creeping in.

Lake Delhi officially returned this summer with a new dam and spillway. The dam breached in 2010 from historic floodwaters.
