HS Volleyball: West Delaware Hawks Go For Another WaMaC Championship

The Class 3A 4th-ranked 30-2 West Delaware Hawks prepare to host 11th-rated 22-6 Beckman inside Seedorf Gymnasium tonight. For the Hawks a victory means an outright WaMaC Conference East division title for the 4th season in a row and 8th in program history since 2003. Twenty-first year head coach Brett Mather knows it will be a fun environment against a very quality Blazer team:

The Hawks are 6-0 on the East side while Beckman is 4-2. It’s the final home regular season match for the Hawks and will also be senior night as the 8 seniors on the roster will be recognized before the varsity match. Western Dubuque travels to Mount Vernon, both teams strive to remain with one conference loss and earn a share of the title with a Beckman win over the Hawks.
