The all-district teams in class 3A district 4 were released Tuesday and several players from West Delaware have made the first and second teams as well as a long list of Hawks who made the academic all-district team. There were eight players that were selected to the first team and they include Juniors Kabryn Cook, Harrison Goebel, and Tyler Kelley, as well as seniors Sam Johnson, John Nagel, Kaleb Sparks, Tanner Wessles, and Kaleb Zieser. The second team includes sophomore Caleb Kehrli, juniors Drew Wubbena and Grant Morris, and senior Troy Monaghan. 15 juniors and seniors made the academic all-district team and they include juniors Max Cizek, Harrison Goebel, Isaiah Heims, Reid Hogan, Caleb Zehr, and Hunter Zieser, and seniors Tyler Chapman, Cole Kehrli, Nolan Lyness, Troy Monaghan, Patrick Nacthman, Jacob Routier, Kasey Wenger, and Kaleb Zieser. The Hawks finished 8-2 this season and qualified for the playoffs for the ninth straight time before falling to Waverly-Shell Rock last Friday night.
