Three people face charges after leading authorities on a high-speed chase through Jones County on Friday.
Monticello Police had tried pulling over a stolen vehicle out of Missouri, but it fled Monticello and led authorities on a chase through farm fields and ditches in rural Jones County. It rammed two law enforcement vehicles before heading back into Monticello and coming to end.
The driver, 29-year old Kevin Glassmeyer of Cedar Rapids, faces numerous charges, including Assault with a Weapon, Driving While Barred, Operating While Intoxicated and First Degree Criminal Mischief.
The two other passengers, 29-year old Megan Dains of Cedar Rapids and 25-year old Dechone Jackson of Monticello, also face charges. Dains is charged with Second Degree Theft and Jackson is charged with Manner of Conveyance.
