Several Dyersville Area Non-Profits Awarded Grants

110216-tc-img_5382Several non-profits in the Dyersville area were recently awarded grants from the Dyersville Area Community Foundation.

The Northeast Iowa Community College Foundation was awarded just over three thousand dollars for developing Dyersville entrepreneurship.

Beckman Catholic High School and the Dyersville Health Foundation were each granted three thousand dollars. Beckman will put the money towards its multipurpose room addition, while the Health Foundation will use their funds to help renovate Mercy Hospital’s emergency room department.

Dyersville Elementary was given 25-hundred dollars for an outdoor classroom and learning lab.

Farley Commercial Club received 15-hundred dollars for the Memorial Hall’s accessibility project.

St. Joseph’s Childcare Center in Earlville was granted 14-hundred dollars for a camera project.

And the Farley Volunteer Fire Department will use their 250 dollar grant for emergency tools.
