City of Manchester Wants Public Input on Possible Garbage Changes

The City of Manchester may change the way your garbage and recycling is picked up – but they want your opinion first.

As the City works on a renewal with Kluesner Sanitation, a couple of new ideas have been proposed. City Manager Tim Vick says they are considering picking up garbage and recycling on the same day. And they’re also evaluating whether or not they should start using the same standard garbage cans for all residents.

The City is actually looking into implementing the carts for recycling, too – which means residents would set out a cart for each.

Manchester residents are asked to give their input by taking a short survey.

The City would like the surveys completed by Sunday, November 27th.
