KMCH celebrated its 25th anniversary Thursday night with the “Scratch to Win” contest finale.
For the past six months, we’ve invited our KMCH listeners to pick up scratch-off tickets at participating sponsor businesses. Twenty-five of those ticket holders were drawn as our final qualifiers in the contest and attended Thursday night’s celebration at Pin Oak for their chance to win 25-thousand dollars and other cash and gift prizes.
While no one won the $25,000 dollar grand prize, there were several cash prize winners. Deb Ferguson of Coggon won $500. Ferguson told KMCH $500 turned out to be better than the gift bags she’d been eyeing all night.
She says she’ll use the money to buy Christmas gifts for her grandkids, who are coming to visit from California.
Jodi Fenton of Greeley won $250, David Faust of Strawberry Point and Nikki Steger of Worthington each won $100 and Chris McDowell of Manchester won $50.
All the other qualifiers walked away with a gift bag filled with prizes, including Dixie Wellman of Manchester, who won a $300 gift certificate to Corcoran Furniture, and Manchester resident Tim Tutton, who won a $125 gift certificate to Honey Creek Furniture and Flooring.
