The Manchester Chamber’s first-ever Business of the Year award was given last night to the Franklin Street Brewing Company. Chad and Kyle Sands, the two brothers who opened the brewery on North Franklin Street just a few years ago, were slightly speechless when they were announced as the winners.
The Franklin Street Brewing Company was chosen from six nominees, with the other businesses including the Manchester Press, Runde Auto Group, Physical Therapy Solutions, HITECH Communications and KMCH Radio.
Several other awards were also given at the Chamber’s Awards Night at the brewery. The Delaware County Meritorious Service Award was presented to Jenny Radabaugh for her volunteer work with the Manchester Feargrounds Haunted Barn, the Ambassador of the Year Award was given to Alison Kass at GNB Bank and the prestigious Ernest Hayhow Chamber Person of the Year Award was given to Chamber Board President Chris Cruse. Cruse says he is humbled and honored.
We’ll hear more from the Chamber Board President, as well as the Business of the Year winners, in upcoming newscasts here on KMCH. Check out some photos from the Chamber’s Awards Night – courtesy of Kevin McCusker Photography in Manchester!
