Delaware County Foundation Offering Grants to Non-Profits

Delaware County non-profits have a chance at some grant money.

The Foundation for the Future of Delaware County offers grant money each year for projects that help the community by addressing a significant issue and helping a broad spectrum.

Foundation Chair Jerry Burke says they have over 72-thousand dollars in grant money available to give away this year.

Over the past decade, these grants have helped support a wide range of local groups, including schools, churches, fire departments, libraries and 4-H clubs. The largest grant a group can receive is five thousand dollars and any projects that receive a grant must be completed by the end of the year.

The deadline to apply is Tuesday, January 31st. Applications can be found online at dbqfoundation.org/FFDC. And if you’d like more information, contact Bev Rahe at Delaware County Economic Development at 927-3325.
