A longtime doctor at Regional Medical Center will be transitioning to a new role.
Over the past 30 years, Dr. Ried Boom has served as a family provider, delivering over a thousand babies at the Manchester hospital. But now, he’s preparing to transition to his new role at RMC as Inpatient Medical Director.
The transition means Dr. Boom’s patients will see some changes.
Dr. Boom says being a family provider has brought him wonderful memories over the years. He says it’s the relationships he’ll miss the most.
The public has a chance to tell Dr. Boom “thank you” this Sunday. A Transition Reception will be held for him from 11 to 2 at RMC’s Veterans Education Center, with lunch served from 11 to 2 and a presentation at 12:30 pm. You can RSVP by calling 927-7764. And if you have photos or memories to share, you can email those to firstname.lastname@example.org.
