Delaware County Pork Board Crowns New Little Royalty

You’ll see three new little faces helping promote pork in Delaware County over the next year.

The Delaware County Pork Producers and Porkettes Association crowned new little royalty at their annual pie contest and auction Tuesday night.

The 2017 Little Sir Hamalot is Wyatt Mullis, the son of Todd and Amy Mullis of Earlville. The 2017 Little Miss Pigtails is Josie Hillers, the daughter of Jason and Jamie Hillers of Manchester. And the 2017 Alternate Little Miss Pigtails is Vera Loecke, the daughter of Mike and Megan Loecke of Manchester.

All three kids told KMCH they love growing up on a farm – and they each have their own reasons why.

And their favorite things to eat? Pork chops, pork steak and crispy bacon.

Delaware County Pork Queen Aleah Vaske says she’s looking forward to have three new little ones to hang out with this year.

And the new little royalty went to work right away – helping the outgoing little royalty deliver pies from the stage to the winning bidders at the pie auction Tuesday night.
