Midwest Pride In Your Ride in Earlville This Weekend

Midwest Pride In Your Ride is this weekend in Earlville, with those in the trucking industry and the public coming together to support the fight against cancer.

That’s Greg Preussner, who serves on the committee. He says they’ll be kicking off their annual truck and tractor show at Tri-State Raceway with a special survivor convoy preview tonight – several trucks carrying local cancer survivors will make their way from Manchester and Dyersville and then meet in the middle in Earlville to head out to the event.

Midwest Pride In Your Ride officially gets underway on Friday night, with a friendly semi pull competition among the radio stations in Dubuque and Delaware counties – with KMCH’s Janelle Tucker and KDST’s Doug Langston going up against a couple radio personalities from Dubuque.

Preussner says they’ve got plenty of events planned for Friday night and Saturday.

Daily admission is $10, with kids 12 and under free. Cancer survivors wearing their purple Relay for Life cancer survivor t-shirt get in for free. For more information about Midwest Pride In Your Ride, check out their Facebook page or visit MidwestPrideInYourRide.org.
