Mark your calendars for Sunday morning, August 27th at Schram Park in Manchester.
Manchester City Parks and Rec Director Doug Foley says after a great turnout last year, they’re looking forward to this year’s race.
Fellow organizer Kristi Kudrna says this is your chance to give back to the people who always serve us.
And Foley says you don’t have to be a die-hard athlete to take part in the triathlon. For anyone concerned about the swimming portion of the event, he says they’ll have opportunities this summer to help you train for that, including open swims at Schram Pond and free lap swims at the Aquatic Center.
The cost to register is 55 dollars per person or 90 dollars per team. And if you don’t want to actually participate in the race, you can still show your support by being what they call a “ghost runner” for 25 dollars, which gets you a t-shirt.
