CCFF Establishes “Restore McGregor Tornado Fund”

CLAYTON COUNTY- The Clayton County Foundation for the Future (CCFF), an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque (CFGD), has established the Restore McGregor 2017 Tornado Fund to help victims and their families affected by the July 19 tornado. This fund will accept contributions from individuals and corporations, and will allocate those funds to the City of McGregor and area nonprofits whose efforts actively address the most critical community needs and provide assistance to households impacted by the tornado.

CCFF will partner with the City of McGregor Disaster Assistance Committee and existing nonprofit and governmental agencies within the areas affected to provide funding for the services these agencies are delivering to meet the needs of victims. If unused dollars are left in the fund after all the needs from the tornado have been met, those dollars will be kept in the Restore McGregor 2017 Tornado Fund to be used as needed in other emergency situations occurring in Clayton County.
