One of Dyersville’s main roads has gotten a facelift this summer.
Highway 136 underwent some shoulder-widening and sidewalk work this past month. It was a hot mix asphalt overlay project, which helps extend the life of the existing pavement and improve the overall ride of the highway.
The project extended from 15th Avenue to the north, past Beckman High School and many of the east-side businesses up to the railroad tracks.
Work is pretty much complete, with just a few punch list items remaining.
