One Injured in Crash North of Arlington

One person was injured in a crash north of Arlington Sunday afternoon.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to the Kornhill and Grannis Road area for a single vehicle rollover.

They say 49-year old Kimberly Churbuck of Fayette was westbound on Kornhill Road when her SUV hit the shoulder of the road and lost control. Her SUV went into the ditch before traveling across Grannis Road, when it rolled and ultimately stopped once it hit a utility pole.

The Sheriff’s Office says Churbuck was trapped in her vehicle before emergency crews arrived. She was transported to Palmer Hospital with minor injuries.
