There are plans to develop some space on West Main Street in Manchester.
The Manchester City Council has approved the preliminary and final plat for Joe Hildebrand’s subdivision, which lies just to the west of Advanced Eye Care Associates.
The subdivision will create three lots, with Eastern Iowa Pumping maintaining ownership of two lots closest to West Main Street and St. Mary’s Catholic Church owning the third lot just to the northwest.
The City says Hildebrand plans to construct a building with parking space on his two lots and raise it out of the floodplain.
Details have not been released on what Hildebrand’s building will be used for or what St. Mary’s will do with their lot.
