Names Released in Deadly Tractor/Motorcycle Collision Near Dyersville

Authorities have released the names of the two people involved in a deadly collision south of Dyersville.

The accident happened a mile south of town on Highway 136 Thursday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol says a tractor driven by 82-year old Francis Naber of Dyersville was southbound, pulling a manure wagon. It was attempting to turn left into a farm lane when it was hit from behind by a motorcycle.

The motorcycle driver died at the scene. He has been identified as 60-year old David Jones of Florida.

Naber was not hurt.

The accident remains under investigation.
