High School Cross Country has reached the conference meet stage of the season and those will take place this afternoon around the state.
West Delaware, Beckman, Independence, Western Dubuque and Anamosa will travel to Vinton joined by the eleven other WaMaC Conference schools. 4pm is the start time.

The Tri-Rivers meet begins at 4pm and will be hosted by North Linn at the school campus where Ed-Co, Maquoketa Valley, East Buchanan, Central City and Alburnett will be the other TRC schools.
Starmont, Clayton Ridge and Central Elkader and the rest of the Upper Iowa Conference schools will be running at the Tri-City Golf Course in Luana hosted by Postville starts at 4pm.
Monticello and Cascade and the River Valley Conference teams will be competing at the Iowa City Kickers Soccer Complex starting at 4:30pm.
The WaMaC Conference volleyball tournament resumes this afternoon in Marion with bracket play. On the championship side in the newer gym of Marion High School, the West Delaware Hawks will open up at 4pm with the Beckman Blazers. The winner will face either CP-U or Independence who play at 5pm. The other 4:00 match is Western Dubuque facing Solon, that winner will face the Mount Vernon/Marion winner. The losers of the first round matches will play again at 5:45 with winners getting a break until 6:30. The championship match will take place at 7:15. In consolation play in the old H.S. gym, Anamosa starts up at 4pm against Maquoketa with the victor facing either Benton Community or Vinton-Shellsburg. Each team is guaranteed two matches, with those winning their first two matches playing a third and final contest.
