Plans are in place for a Delaware County bridge project.
Next year, the County will replace the 245th Avenue bridge, which is located a mile and a half south of Highway 20 between Delaware and Delhi. They will be installing a 90-foot by 30-and-a-half foot concrete slab bridge.
The project is expected to cost around 350-thousand dollars. County Engineer Anthony Bardgett says this is their federal aid bridge project for the year, which means 80-percent of the cost is paid through federal aid, with the remaining 20-percent paid by the County.
The 245th Avenue Bridge Project is set to bid out in January.
