Saturday’s Drug Take-Back Event in Manchester was a success.
Manchester Police say fifty-five pounds of unwanted, unused and expired prescription drugs were collected by their department at Brehme Drug.
The drugs that were collected were then turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency so they could be properly disposed.
If you missed Saturday’s event, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department also now has a permanent drug dropbox located outside the main entrance of their office in Manchester for anyone who needs to get rid of unused prescription drugs. The dropbox is accessible to the public 24/7.
