Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Hires New Deputy

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new deputy.

Tim Schwendinger will serve as a full-time Deputy Sheriff for the department.

Schwendinger has been a Reserve Deputy with the Sheriff’s Office for the past eight years and is currently an officer with the Dyersville Police Department.

His starting wage will be just under twenty-eight dollars an hour, increasing to $29.51 after successfully completing his six month probationary period.

Schwendinger’s first day on the job will be Monday.
