Linn County Sheriff’s K9 Receives Donated Protective Vest

Linn County Sheriff’s Office K9 has received a bullet and stab protective vest.

K9 Bingo’s new vest was made possible thanks to a charitable donation from a non-profit organization called Vested Interest in K9s. The charity, located in Massachusetts, provides bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the U.S.

The donation to provide one protective vest for a K9 is about 950 dollars. K9 Bingo’s vest was sponsored by a fundraiser hosted by Alaska K9 Center, North Pole (Alaska) and embroidered with the sentiment “in memory of K9 Helo, Alaska State Trooper”.
