HS SPORTS: Tuesday 11-28 Recap

The West Delaware Girls Basketball team improved their record to 1-2 with their first victory of the season last night inside Seedorff Gymnasium. The Hawks got past Benton Community 37-30 in a game that had 5 ties and 8 led changes. The Hawks biggest lead was 7 in the first quarter before falling behind at halftime by 1. They took the lead for good in the 4th quarter and hung on to drop the Bobcats to 0-2. Senior Lauren Collier led the way with 10 points, Kendra Offerman had 9, Abby McGrane and Macey Kleitsch added 6 while Brooke O’Connell had 4 and Allison Collier had 2.

Other girls games-
