Non-profit organizations can apply for the grants for programs or projects in Delaware County that address significant community issues and benefit a broad spectrum of the community.
Grants are available in the areas of Education; Health and Human Services; Neighborhoods and Community Development; Environment; Children, Youth and Families; and Arts and Culture (including historic preservation).
In the past, grants have been awarded to 4-H clubs for community projects, churches for service projects, cities for playground improvements and fire departments for equipment upgrades.
Eligible applicants must be 501c3 nonprofit organizations or governmental bodies. Other non-profits with charitable projects may also qualify, but must partner with a qualified non-profit or government body who will serve as a sponsor.
Applications are available online through the Foundation’s website at dbqfoundation.org/FFDC. Applications are due January 31st.
