Man Faces Numerous Charges after Incident in Arlington

One man is facing numerous charges after violating a no-contact order in Arlington.

Authorities tracked down 24-year old Cole Johnson after receiving the call. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says Johnson had left the scene in his pickup truck before deputies arrived, but the Iowa State Patrol pulled him over on Highway 20 in Buchanan County and arrested him for driving while barred.

Johnson is also facing charges in Fayette County for burglary, domestic abuse assault, stalking, violating a no-contact order and driving while barred.

If convicted, Johnson could face up to ten years in prison.
