Light snow fell throughout the day on Thursday and more is on the way Friday. Our weather partners at KCRG-TV9 predict snow will re-develop Friday morning, with another one to three inches possible by the end of the day.
Bitterly cold air will move back in for the weekend too. Highs will struggle to reach zero Saturday through Monday, with wind chills at 15 to 30 below zero or even colder.
That arctic blast is expected to stay with us through most of next week as we kick off the new year.
