Manchester Good to Great Looking for New Ideas

What would you like to see happen in Manchester to make the town a better place to live, work and play?

It’s been ten years since the Manchester Good to Great Committee first asked the public that question… and since that time, ideas that were brainstormed at that first initial community meeting have come to fruition, including the skate park, the Manchester logo, the West Delaware Academic Booster Club and the Manchester Whitewater Park.

With most of the original Good to Great projects now complete, the committee is looking for new ideas.

That’s Jack Klaus, who serves on the committee along with Dean Sherman. Sherman says they’re asking everyone to consider filling out the short four-question survey.

They say an idea that may seem small or maybe even far-fetched could be Manchester’s next big attraction.

The survey can be found online on the Facebook pages of the City of Manchester, the Manchester Chamber, Delaware County Economic Development and West Delaware Schools – just look for the “Engage Manchester” Survey. Or if you’re not into Facebook, you can stop at any of those four places and pick up a printed survey.

The surveys will be available through the end of the month.
