Wind Chill Advisory Through Friday Morning

Another round of very cold wind chills are expected as we head into Friday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Delaware, Dubuque, Buchanan, Jones and Linn counties in effect from midnight through 10 am Friday.

They say temperatures below zero combined with winds of 5 to 10 mph will push wind chills into the 17 to 25 below zero range.

Those wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.

Temperatures are forecast to warm up for the weekend, with highs reaching around 30 on Sunday.
