HS Basketball: Tuesday 1-9 Scores

It was a big shooting night for a couple of area girls basketball teams last night with one of those tying a all-time state record, and the other setting a new school record. North Linn sophomore Grace Flanagan set a new Tri-Rivers conference record as she knocked down 10 three pointers helping the Lynx to a 99-23 win over Calamus-Wheatland. As a team North Linn made 20 three pointers which ties the all-time state record for most three’s in a game with Pocahontas-Area who accomplished that feat last season. Maquoketa Valley had a big night from beyond the arc as well setting a new school record as they hit 18 three pointers in a 83-42 win over Cedar Valley Christian.
