Authorities had revealed on Wednesday that 23-year old Alex Salow of Delhi was not alone before he died in a submerged vehicle that broke through the lake’s ice. Witnesses spotted a vehicle doing “donuts” on the ice Sunday night, and the vehicle was spotted in the water Monday. Someone was with Salow before the incident, but left in another vehicle. Authorities knew the name of the person who was with Salow, but wanted information on who the driver of that other vehicle was.
On Friday, Sheriff John LeClere told KMCH that in those two days, they received additional information from the public, but they are not releasing the identity of anyone else involved until the investigation is complete.
Salow is being laid to rest today, with services this morning at St. John’s Catholic Church in Delhi.
