The Foundation for the Future of Delaware County is accepting grant applications through the end of the month.
Board member Jerry Burke says non-profit organizations can apply for the grants for programs or projects in the county that address significant community issues and benefit a broad spectrum of the community.
Grants are available in the areas of Education; Health and Human Services; Neighborhoods and Community Development; Environment; Children, Youth and Families; and Arts and Culture (including historic preservation).
In the past, grants have been awarded to 4-H clubs for community projects, churches for service projects, cities for playground improvements and fire departments for equipment upgrades.
Applications are available online through the Foundation’s website at dbqfoundation.org/FFDC. The deadline to apply is next Wednesday, January 31st.
