Mary Ferentz to Speak at Dyersville Area Women’s Night

The date has been set for the Dyersville Area Women’s Night, with the wife of Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz speaking at this year’s event.

Mary Ferentz, Chair of the University of Iowa’s Stead Family Children’s Hospital Council, is this year’s speaker. Ferentz will share the importance of the mission of the Council. She’ll also talk about the Iowa Ladies Football Academy and the incredible impact of Hawkeye Football’s newest tradition, the Iowa Wave.

Women from throughout the area are invited to the Dyersville Area Women’s Night event, which will be held Wednesday, April 18th from 6 to 9 pm at the Total Fitness Rec Center Gym. Each guest receives a gift bag at the door, a chance to visit with area vendors and a catered meal. Raffle tickets can also be purchased, with prizes ranging from overnight stays at hotels to event admission tickets.

And the highlight of the night is the announcement of the Woman of the Year. Each year, nominations are submitted for women from Dyersville, Farley, Worthington, New Vienna, Petersburg, Luxemburg or Earlville who impact the community through business, inspiration or volunteerism. Nomination forms are available at the Dyersville Chamber or online at dyersville.org.

Tickets for Women’s Night are now on sale – contact the Dyersville Chamber at 875-2311 for more information.
