One Person Arrested for Rural Oelwein Burglary

Authorities have made an arrest following a burglary in rural Oelwein.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office were notified Monday that a property on 45th Street was burglarized, with about 15-hundred dollars worth of items stolen.

After collecting evidence and receiving an anonymous Facebook tip, deputies executed a search at 127 2nd Avenue Southeast on Wednesday and recovered all of the stolen property.

30-year old Roger Hall II of Oelwein has been arrested and charged with Third Degree Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools and Driving While Barred.
