Area meetings today…
The Delaware County Board of Supervisors will meet at 1:15 pm, with a presentation from Steve Thompson of Optimum Renewables. He will give an update on the three wind turbines near Earlville. The Supervisors will also hold a work session at 1:45 pm to review the county’s final proposed budget.
The Manchester City Council will consider an engineering agreement with Fehr Graham for the proposed Highway 13 Water Main Loop Project to provide better water pressure from Main Street to the intersection of Burrington Road and Commercial Court. The City Council will also consider approving a change in Phase One of the Riverfront Development Project. An extra 25-hundred dollars is requested for professional services to install a new well as a source for a water feature. And the City Council will consider the Railroad’s request to upgrade to a rubber crossing at Brewer Street. Tonight’s Manchester City Council meeting begins at 5 pm.
Tonight, the West Delaware School Board will hold a public hearing on their calendar for next school year. The public hearing will begin at 7 pm sharp, with the board considering the calendar’s approval later in the meeting.
Other area meetings tonight include the Cascade City Council meeting at 6 pm and the Edgewood City Council at 7 pm.
